Wide shot or close-up? Photo tips

Homvi reads whatever's in the frame, so the same camera works two ways depending on what you need.

Wide room shot: breadth, fast

Stand back and capture as much of the room as you can. Homvi pulls out many items at once. Great for furniture, decor, and the bulk of a room. Fine detail like serial numbers usually won't show at this distance.

Close-up: one item, in detail

Move in on a single high-value item, like a TV, a watch or a power tool. A clear shot of the label lets Homvi capture the make, model, and serial number, exactly the detail worth recording for anything valuable.

Supported photos

For best results, use clear, well-lit photos. Item photos can be JPG, PNG, or HEIC, up to 20MB each.
